The protagonist, "Kareem," is portrayed by Ziaul Fattah, Sayef Zaman's uncle, who had just recovered from COVID during the height of the pandemic in New York City.

ziaul was inititally hesitant to take on the film ,but eventually channeled his personal struggles during lockdown, unable to drive or see his son. he joined Sayef in creating a quarantine-based film as an outlet to the pandemic’s anxieties. Ziaul’s powerful and captivating performance became a standout, earning acclaim on the GLOBAL festival circuit and recognized in the first bengaly film festival of ny 2023.
